I rather a CAI over a normal SRI, but then i prefer a SRI with the box over a CAI.

Well performance for daily driving is stock system. For Sound without sacrificing your daily driving performance would be sri. If your always reving past 3k and each time u shift you stay above 3k then cai is the way to go.

I just got an sri with 2 ducting pipes feeding cold air to the pod, plan to diy a box sometime in the future.

SRI will produce a louder induction noise than a CAI.
Theoretically, you would assume CAI will perform better than a SRI, the difference is really fk all.

I have a SRI in an enclosed box with the air pickup near the front wheel arch, happy with it.

i would go CAI for the B series
SRI with cold air feed for the D series

get a Fujita CAI and be done with it =D
awsome response, performance, quality filter, sounds good, looks good ... done lol

+1 with EK1 Civic

Stock box is good for everyday, my Mugen works best with engine spinning over 3 grand+... but then again I do have a D Series!
