Hey all,

I've just bought a set of foggies from Mars Performance and i'm having trouble with the wiring to get the power. They didn't come with instructions or anything and when I emailed them all i got was this picture.

I've searched the forums and came across mark, aero and poyta's threads but the harness that i'm supplied with is different. I've got a four pin plug with one wire connected to it that's meant to be for the switch and another one which looks like a one pin plug that's meant to power the foglights. I was also told that one is for a 12V wire inside the car (i'm assuming its the one to power the foggies) and the other is for an "ACC" wire somewhere in the car, but i can't find these cables.

Any ideas on how to wire this up?

Thanks

Interested in this as well. I have a set of fogs with very similar wiring, and I have mounted the lights, but not yet wired them. I believe all that is really neccessary to get them actually working is connecting the grounding and the power wire.

A DIY for the FD's would be awesome.

yeah, all we need to do is connect the power and ground, i think the other one is just for the light on the switch. we just have to find the power wire in our car. i'll try write up a DIY if i can get it working.

thanks aero, but i've been watching that video over and over and it still doesn't make sense. the harness i've got is already wired up to plugs but the ones in the video arn't. the one in the video is also using the stalk but i've got the one with the button.

There was a user here who did it, but for the life of me i can't remember who. I'll post back if i can remember.

Good luck.

aero, i've looked through though before i tried installing them the first time, thanks again =)

it's alright, cheers curtis.

I've since looked through about 30 something pages of how to install foglights on different cars and i figured it out. either mars performance have found their own way of wiring it up, or they're kinda misleading with their wiring.
no one's done a write up or anything, so i'll attempt to write one up and see if it helps.
