Code 21 - still Drivable??

Hi...
I have an 2002 EP3R
My CEL came on couple days ago and the code was 21 (Vtec Solenoid)
Engine oil is good so i think theres something wrong with the solenoid itself.
Problem is i live in Canberra and there isnt a mechanic that knows honda...

Luckily i will be moving down to Melbourne in a two weeks.
So my question is whether my car is still drivable or not...
And is it safe to drive such a long distance??
I prefer having someone who really know their stuff to work on my car.

yeh you can still drive it - for my own understanding you will not hit vtec

You can easily change the sensor. I wouldn't drive it on long distance, car will be running on limp mode (very rich)
