Driving home with a friend from Crown last night and I see this Celica (round eye ones) with some blue LED washers and interior neon's. I though, haha, what a ricer, and then just ignored him. Then my friend yells out that the Celica wanted to run me. Red light comes, we're both at the front, asked him if he wated a run and he nods. So the race begins.
I launched with no wheel spin (5AT, haha!), and we were both even until I hit VTEC and that was pretty much the end :D. 2nd gear on the auto left him for dead. I was a bit worried when he was head to head with me, but then he shifted to 2nd while I still had 2-3K left until redline, and I knew it was all good.
Gave him a thumbs up afterwards. Nice friendly traffic light drag :thumbsup:
PS: My Euro is stock, while the Celica had an exhaust. Doubt that will give him much power gains.
