Non Honda Driver Intro

Hey guys,

I come from the the Toyota side of things, originally being introduced to the JDM/drift scene when I owned a KE55 Corolla, I then upgraded to a KE70, and now also part own an AE71 with my brother. I also own a Type X and my brother a S14A.

I usually hang round the other forums but after racing with George and a few other ozhonda guys last night i thought i would join up to waste a bit more time at work and learn some more about the hondas

im no hater to the honda scene and really enjoy a nicely done honda and probably will own one one day!

stripped out interior + sound deadening

ae86 coilover setup front, rears i have chopped ford springs and excel g shocks i thinks lol, its been a while since ive worked on her
K50 box (5speed)
Heavily worked 5K with 4age pistons 290 degree cam with mikuni quadthrottle body setup, tuned extractors, did make 100kw a couple years ago, but needs a rebuild, used to be used in IPRA

So plans are to get the engine rebuilt first, get it re registered and balance mods between both cars, so while i do something to one car i can drive the other

the red AE71 was my brothers old car, we put a SR20DE into that one, went very well, had tokico suspension, t series etcetc
the blue wagon was one i picked up cheap and made a quick profit on, was very very rusty

hmm where did i say i am upgrading? the suspension is still stock atm i am going to upgrade to coilovers once i can afford it but wont be in a while

i got similar 180sx but 94 model, most of my mates all got 180sx or s15 aswell.

good car, and steps out like no ones buisness lol.

that takumi reinhard looks beauty on ure car, never seen one on a 180 before.

yea they are pretty rare and unique, i have always been a fan of straight pipe and as works9 has gone bankrupt these were the only ones on the market other than a custom setup!

got it through streeter, big thanks to him as i would have never found it otherwise, Rein Hard is a hard company to find!
