I have a problem with black smoke.. My rear bar constantly gets covered in black soot!

I have a fujita intake and a rear section exhaust cannon..

As i believe the black smoke arises from carbon build up or a car running rich, would this mean the car computer is putting to much petrol into the engine? causing this black soot??

Should i revert to stock cai?? and stock exhaust to stop this?

I think its more likely to be the position of your exhaust thats causing your rear bumper to become black. Is it still the stock ECU?

Does it actually blow out thick black smoke or do you just find the black soot on your bar?

How black does the rear get? both my civics covered the rear bar in shit, happens even after an hour of driving after being washed. If the car is not blowing alot of black smoke and fuel economy is normal then you have nothing to worry about. Does your exhaust tip protrude from the rear bar? or does it sit behind?

it doesnt piss out smoke.. just wash it and then its covered with soot an hour after driving... the tip sits a little out from under the bar but points down..

I have the fujita intake into the front bar on it so im thinking it could be this causing it?.. I just hate that it gets so dirty so quickly lol

Cars running alittle richer because of the intake and poofter cannon. Also the straight
Thru design let's soot thru rather than captures most in the mufflers baffling.

Whats wrong with homosexual exhausts? they have feelings too.

Let us know how you go... I've got a feeling its just the exhaust, why would the intake make it richer?

More air = Air/Fuel Ratio Issues = Computer sending more fuel = Richer!

Why not take the easy way out abs spray your Gli black :D
