Cars probably misfiring... does it sounds like the engine is running properly? check leads + for any loose connections.

or do you mean shaking as in you have a buckled wheel kind of shaking?

no like engine wise, its not misfiring its runs fine wen i step on it but like wen stopped and on idle, is feels like losing power. should i be changing my fuse since i got hid in now

Only when the HID's are on? Maybe you need a tougher battery? No idea...

Could have something to do with additional load being placed on your electrical system. Usually the ELD (load detector) will bump your revs up when you have alot of electronics on, such as interior fan, rear demister, headlights etc. Given HIDs probably draw more current the ELD may not be coping.

Are you certain you wired eveything correctly?

I see. As in the light flickers? sounds like a wiring problem to me

yeah i did it all correct i put the relay under and left headlight and wired everything good and even duct taped another layer of tape on wires

could it be cos wen i screwed the ground wires for each light could have poor contact to the chassis??

yes, there should be bare metal on the chassis where you've connected the ground. If you've done it on a painted surface this could be the problem.

How did you connect the wiring? solder? crimp connector? twisted together and taped up?

Was going to say that... use a tiny square of sand paper and clean up all your grounding points, maybe even change the wires - one from the rad support to rocker cover and what ever else looks fkd. Also, make sure the hid wires aren't touching the power steering pulley, I've seen that happen a few times, causes them to flicker and may fry them.

crimp connector so just a plug to the other connector... and yeah i think i should get some sand paper and sand the paint off
thanks guys

Post results for future reference if it fixes the problem. GL

My car used to shake a bit at the lights, mainly when i park on an incline and my wheels not straight. I get like a mini vibration that i think is from the power steering since its on idle and turning the wheel drops your revs. So i just moved a bit forward and straightened up the steering wheel and its fine. Doesn't happen anymore though, occured twice in the history i have owned the car.

Possibly weak alternator - more current draw from these hids equals lower or rougher idle. Try turning on your headlights while the engine is idling - the revs will drop a tiny bit happens on all but the biggest engines.

thinking this avro making ground wire more contact to chassis and change fuse 10amp to 20amp... would it make a diff?

dont up your fuse, you will defs damage the HID wiring or ballast by allowing it to get excessive current under fault...what HID kit do you have? really does sound like a grounding problem, but for just 1 grounding point the shaking sounds excessive

It shouldn't be your battery /alternator problem as the HIDs actually draws less current compare to the halogen bulbs u replaced. As others suggested, check the grounds and all the wiring you've touched when you installed the kit.

well i did put one of the ground wires with the engine ground wire and, i found out it could be my spark plugs now since i went home yesterday and from 2000rpm-3000rpm the car shaking in P(park).
so could it of been cos i grounded the hid to the engine ground??
