Standard Steering Wheel removal

Hay all, I jst purchased a MOMO streering wheel and a boss kit for my EK, but now I'm stuck on how to remove the standard steering wheel without the airbag exploding in my face :confused: , any hints or tips.

Oh, and I know that it's illegal to replace a airbag steering wheel but the one thats on there now is all tatty and heat damaged, and I picked up the momo for a bargain price, so if the cops ask, I bought it that way. :D

not a very smart idea I must say, but its your life. I'm sure there has already been a thread about this topic so use the search tool. Just take it to a mechanic etc etc
