what does the aircon have to do with ITB?
serious question.
How would ITB installation effect aircon?

only thing I see it affecting is the iacv which controls the idle whilst the aircon is on
no place on the itb's to plug it into
I guess the easy way out is make a plate for the iacv and attach hose barbs to run vac lines?

as vinnY says, ITB's don't have an IACV. This can be incorperated into the system which can help you overcome the problem.

You're on the right track, lengths are critical (too long makes things worse)
The main issue once the mechanical side is sorted is getting it to work (tuning wise)
You need dual tables & loads of patience, LOL

so id asume you need a high end ecu like an s300 etc

In the context of retaining the A/C & nice drivabilty & manners, yes it would be best.
Without A/C & using quads, a low end ECU will do the job for track mule, but you shouldn't expect genius level results from what is effectivly a retard level ECU. Cold start & part throttle drivability with never be as good with some of the lower breeds of computer out there.
For what it's worth though, the S300 is actually quite cheap as far as ECU's go & represents pretty good value for money.
u mad?

is a microtech lt-8 considered a 'retard' ecu?? i have problems with cold starts with my b18c7 (i dont have itb's though)/off topic

LOL, well yes... All is not lost though & your problem is pretty easy to overcome with the use of a K20A thermostatic idle up valve & a bit of stuffing around with the temp comp for fuel & ignition.
For A/C, you'll need the adjustable A/C idle up solinoid from an AE82 Corrola & wire this in parallel with the A/C request. Bleed offered is adjustable & needs to bypass the throttle on A/C request.
Can work with quads but is quitye crude when compared with proper IACV control.
