I saw one of these for sale, and im wondering what you guys think of it. It says it "bolts on" so i'm assuming you don't need to take it to a muffler shop to get it put on, and can just do it at home.
Im looking for comments on sound mainly, performance isn't what i'm after at the moment.

bolt on means just what it means... u can either take it to muffler shop to replace the stock muffler or do it ur self, me personally would do myself, not too hard, just a pain in the back lol

Just basic tools needed to perform the job, the bolts may be hard since so lots of wd40

the axle back is bolted on via 2 bolts, an held with rubber hangers

sound wise, i wouldnt know what it sounds like, but id imagine loud lol

could you provide an estimate on how much a muffler shop would charge to do it?

give or take, 50 - 100... every place is different, but realistically, its only a 30min job, as air tools will make it soo easy

could anything go wrong if you try to do it yourself? since it's just bolting and not welding or anything near the engine. was thinking of just fiddling around and sooner or later it'd stick but not looking forward to a few thousand to fix my stuffups if it does happen!

well if it doesnt sit right, as in the gasket doesnt seal properly, could find ur self a exhaust leak, sounds like a tractor... but other than that, its a pretty simple job, id rate this is a 4/10 in terms of hardness

Is there instructions anyway on how to do this? lol

lol
its so simple,
jack up the car and put on stands
undo the 2 bolts holding the muffler to the B pipe
take off the muffler from the car
put rubber hangers on the new muffler
hang muffler on the car and bold back up the 2 bolts
take stands away and lower ur car.

20min job, i used to do this every time b4 i went to the track.
and u only need 2 spanners

IMO save ur self the money and DIY
