Yeah, change the oil filter. At Rick Damelian, they recommend that you change the oil filter at 1000km.

I wouldn't change the oil filter at the first service, the mineral oil helps break in the engine. Just stick to the service manual and you can't go wrong.

Yes I did get my Oil Filter Changed I did so by request,
I asked so many questions to fix and change things on my 1st service make sure you make a list of all the thinks you wont to be done on the 1st service as it is done almost for free all I paid for was the oil and filter + also got the foggys installed to.
Good Luck! Let me know how you go.
Which dealer are you off to as I am not to sure if I will go back to mine they could not even change a H1 bulb ( they advised me it was the wrong bulb)Phhhh...

From memory without looking at invoice i think oil filter was around $21.
Other questions I asked was:
1.To fix seatbelt on passenger side would not click in correctly.
2. Change a set of bulbs for me which they did not do :( Even though they were the correct size they said they did not fit :thumbdwn: :(
3. Had this massive black plate backing on the front where the number plate was sitting I only have a small numplate told them to cut it down.
Few other things I mentioned but they were the main things.

yeah about the number plate thing
its HUUUUUUUGE
and quite fugly imo
hmmmm i dont think i need to change the bulbs since i have HID's :D and with the passenger seatbelt, no dramas atm..
but thanks again for the info :D hopefully the euro will run smoother after its first service

Dude! Cut the number plate backing yourself. Won't take you 10 mins to do it!

righto here we go
the various bits n peices
http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/3083/IMG_1793.jpg
throw away the big black flat bit and cut the other peice so its just smaller than your plate. You need this bit (as seen on the right below) as it shaped so the plate sits flat against the bumper.
http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/3083/IMG_1793.jpg
I did have to lower (ie plates sits higher) the mounting holes of the actual #plate, as i wanted the plate to sit totally above the bottom grill. If you dont want to drill your plate it will just sit a bit lower.
you need to then put it all back together. First screw black plastic back on then the plate to that.
(CLEAR AS MUD)

I had the same problem , when I went to my 1st Service clocked up almost 1300km at 1257Km ;)
As long as you get it done within or before 2000km you will be fine.

I've got a 3 letter plate and had to make custom brackets for it to go on. The plate is smaller than the factory mounting holes.
How did you guys go about doing this?

Just ask your dealer to cut the bracket down to size so it will fit your custom plate. :D

1000km: $38.60 for engine oil and hazardous waste disposal (labour is free)
10000km: $164.90. including $15 wheel rotation and balance. free loan car
20000km: $192.60. including $15 wheel rotation and balance Free loan car
30000km. $117. No wheel rotation and Balance.
mine 30000km service is done at Austral Honda. (loan car at extra cost)
All other services were performed at Highway Honda. (where I bought my car)
costs for service do vary from dealer to dealer. so if you dont travel, go to the one with good reputation and cost reasonable.
Sorry I am in Brisbane, so couldn't tell you which one is better in your city.

Where did u get it serviced PNR888
the answer is already in my previous post.
30000km at Austral. (that was when I met Brenton)
All the earlier services were done at Highway Honda (Springwood)
Austral's service garage looks much much bigger and newer than Highway honda's.

OMG, was that 10000km service done at Highway Honda?
What a rip off. I paid $117.15 for my 10,000km service, which did include tyre rotation. No loan car though, which was extra 30bux.

Coladuna:
yeah, it was doen at Highway Honda.
you must hae yours done at Austral, right?
I think they charge $117.15 for minor service (eg, 10000 and 30000km). The cost probably the same for all honda 4 cylinder models.
Are you sure wheel rotation and balance is included? coz they didnt do mine at 30000km service.
