Hi all,

Apparently one of the grey honda integra VTiRs was running a 14.2-14.5... was wondering if anyone knew what mods it has? Including tyres, clutch, flywheel, suspension, and engine. Great time for a VTiR!!!!

Here's pics of the three Hondas in case anyone knows them

hehehe

that is good for a b16a civic, i'm going to try stripping everything out of my car for the next meet and see what i can pull. looks like i'll be driving on my own ;)

how much does the passenger seat and all the plastic trimming weigh?
did that civic have aircon? power steering connected?

Cheers,
Tommo.something about that car looks familiar... yeah, i've seen that sexy **** behind the wheel before :D

it was actually a 14.500
i reckon i can shave a bit off with more practice. three runs isn't enough for my first time there. i was really nervous on the first two runs, and miss-shifted on the third.

is the burnout comp really necessary? i wish it was all drag racing...

DMT
20-01-2005, 11:02 PM
thats a dam good time mate i could only manage a 15.4 @ 93mph

mcchooky, i got 15.137 @ 89mph not 92mph!! got 89mph on all 3 runs.. my 60 ft was 2.218 or something, ill check the slips tmr morning.

was pretty fun, my first time on the track, was pretty nervous sitting infront of the xmas lights, my heart was just going THUMP THUMP THUMP! n then before i knew it, the light went green and i sat there for a whole second contemplating about how i should launch the car!! got a 15.49 on the first run, 15.28 on the 2nd and finished off with a 15.137 which made me a very happy EK4 owner!

my car is stock with catback exhaust and intake and some sussy mods!

Good times all around then guys... 15.1 out of the civic doesn't suprise me, I know when I went, I had problems launching well, I know the car would grib a lot better if it was lowered... combined with your exhaust and intake mods, 15.1 sounds about right :D

So what did that white VTiR get? 14.9, or? Any idea what mods it has?

I'm just interested to see what mods have been done by people, and what sorta times their cars run. Time slips are a much better indication than a dyno figure.

Oh, another pic :D

How can your car be stock when it has modifications?? To me stock means how the car comes out from the factory. I think a lot of people get confused when they read that a "stock" car does a certain quarter mile time and then quote this incorrect time in future arguments..

Anyway great times guys, much more interesting and factual than some of the "kill" stories in this forum.

what i mean is, take a stock car, wack on catback and intake, and thats all i have.
its not misleading at all, is it? if i had just said my car is stock, then yeah.

but yeah, thanx for the props :)

It means your car didnt take off as well as his. 98miles/hour trap speed indicates to me that with a better launch would see you do very low 14sec pass

it may also be the fact that your car is heavier and more difficult to get off the line quickly...........so it certainly doesn't imply driver technique..
