Is it worth getting a new transmission for 400$ to manual on a Honda Civic Ek1 2000 Model with 170,xxx Km? Engine is Stock with no Vtec.

Are you gonna keep this car? Your better off selling it and getting a ek4 if you want something that goes hard. $400 is just the cost of the transmission, have you taken into consideration time and money on labour?

so your car is auto and wanting to go manual? if so then no it's not worth it, better off selling it to buy a manual one.

5spd Pedal Assembly - clutch and brake pedal, dont need whole assembly
Clutch Cable - its hydraulic not cable, so clutch hard lines from cmc to csc.
Manual transmission
Flywheel - make sure to use manual flywheel bolts, longer bolts
Starter motor (manual transmission) - make sure to use manual starter bolts, longer bolts
Clutch
Throw out bearing, Pilot bearing and clutch alignment tool (most clutch "kits" include a new throw out bearing, pilot and alignment tool)
Shift linkage (best to get one complete with shifter) - dont forget to get bitch pin too.
ECU (optional, you can easily just trick your auto one)
Transmission mount (may be possible to mod your existing one)

if youre not gonna diy and buy from wreckers, its not worth it.
if youre gonna diy and buy parts from forumer, only worth it when your auto tranny is fkd.
