Ok, short and simple q.

Ran over pot hole, busted my front left shock absorber, its sticking through the support point in the engine bay.

Has happened before to my rear right and got it replaced no worries but that was at a mechanic.

Is it possible to replace it myself with tools at home or will i need to go to the mechanics. Need to get it replaced asap and the workshop is closed over the holiday weekend.

TheY easy to change. There is a thread on here that shows how to install coilovers. This should help you replace the shock.
