Check charcoal canister condition (Firewall of engine bay, below fuel filter)
Often the ported vacuum switch can be damaged on young guys cars for what ever reason. Also check VSV @ rear of intake manifold.
NB: When evaporative system is damaged or fails, the car tends to stink of fuel.

Assuming your car is serviced & tuned correctly,
More than likley, your fuel consumption problem is wheel & tyre related.
What size wheels & tyres do you have & what pressure do you run in them?

what is your air cleaner and fuel filter like, when were they last replaced,

also have you noticed your engine light on at all, your o2 sensor could be at fault and engine runs rich.

i too seem to be having a similar problem and i've only had my car for 2 months....from when i first got it to now the fuel consumption seems to be different, althought i'm taking into consideration that i'm gettin the feel of the car n aren't affraid as much to push a lil harder on the accelerator than wen i first got the car....
