Hi,
Just did the fluid flush/change myself for the first time, kept pumping oil into the filler hole until it dribbled out and then pumped in some more (then more dribble).
I thought the aim of this was to put the fliud at the same level as the bottom of the filler hole but when i felt inside i couldn't feel any oil.

Is there any tell tale signs that indicate you haven't filled it up enough?
Car drives fine :) just wanted to make sure.

Thanks

if it dribbles out of the filler hole it should be fine

Your car should be 100% level when filling - not angled at all.
Fill from the speed sensor hole for best results...let the fluid trickle out come back in awhile and wait for it to stop
For the level to be spot on !

i had ther car on the ground with the wheels on, in terms of being "level" thats up to mercy of how my coils are setup. i was thinking about the VSS but wasn't gutsy enough to do it at the time.
i made it dribble twice so i guess it should be fine.
would there be any signs during driving that would indicate i didn't put enough in?

Overfilled is a sluggish gearbox shifting etc
Under filled is instant noise possibly gears grinding input shaft bearing etc

the level-ness come down to the ground you are doing it on too... i know when i do mine i bring the car back down on its wheels and fill from the top, but then i have relative comfort that the garage i used to change my oil in was relatively level...
