Rear seats into Audm CRX

Has anyone fitted JDM rear seats into an Audm crx? What did you need to do to make them road worthy.

Don't they come registered as a four seater? Mine did... :S

And in QLD all I needed was a Modplate..Don't know about NSW..

Depends on who's at the desk.

Mine's registered as a 4-seater, but according to the ADR the rear seats need to have belts that run from your shoulder to your lap, rather than just over the lap like the JDM ones.

I suppose this is to stop rear passengers from slamming their face into the back of your seat because they only have lap belts :)


Oh and btw they look kinda nice but I'm really over my rear seat. I'd rather have the lockable compartment, or at least something I can put my toolbox on without having to worry about scratching it or putting a hole in it. They're not even practical. I had somebody sit behind my passenger once but neither person was comfortable and surely nobody would fit behind me when I'm driving...
