Hey stephen welcome to Ozhonda. Just a question about your car, how does it feel with the coilovers? When you go into corners? I find the stock suspension just fine.

Turns alot better. Because of dampening, camber and toe adjusted. Feels alot more smoother. And ride quality is alot better.

Rims were on them when I bought the car. I personally hate them. Shit rims + shit tyres = no grip. And I was gonna get a EK4 or EM1 but decided to go higher in my budget.

Seriously stockies aint worth getting. I'm looking into some RPF1 and some other racing wheels.

if you say so
I don't mind DC5R stockies and if I had the wheels currently on yours I'd consider stockies worthwhile.
Just how I see it though.

No offense, but do you really push your car that hard to lose grip whilst driving on your L's....???? :S I think you should perhaps take it easy on the road and get your license first before trying to drive 10/10 like Hamilton.

Lol. Seriously. One day driving in the rain. Not pushing the car at all. Doing hill starts. The wheels spin so easily at 2000-2500rpm. That's what I mean by no grip.

Seriously stockies aint worth getting. I'm looking into some RPF1 and some other racing wheels.

Seriously.. stockies are the best. I've run heaps of "racing wheels" in all sorts of sizes... and none of them can drive as well and smooth as my stockies with re001. Seriously.

Hrmm. I will consider stocks in the future. Haha. And hill starts I know how to. But seriously. It was poring down and did a little skid, up on a hill at the lights. These tyre I never herd of and I've been told from friends and mechanics to change to different tyre. I think next set would be some adrenalines, advan or Toyo. I'm long way till these tyres wear so I got plenty of time to decide. Might grab a set of stockies just for the heck of it.

Ok guys. Appreciate the suggestions, and help. As you know I am not as knowledgeable as you older guys, so don't take me too serious about everything I say. If you guys know anyone who has a set of either JDM/AUDM DC5R Stockies for a cheap price with no buckles, hit me up and I might go pick them up. Nearly everyone suggested me to get new set of rims or Stockies. So yeah! Thanks guys.

re001's are like... good street tyres that takes yonks to wear out, worth the money.

Yeah. I herd so good reviews about them. I think my best cheapest choice would be stocks + re001. But would like to have some RPF1 + re001 or some other Yokohama or Toyo tyres. I'll keep on saving up and see if I can get both set of rims and sell these replicas I have on now for tyres for stockies. See how money goes first. Lol.

Nice car mate, you're very very lucky to have a DC5R as your first car. Learn to appreciate it because even as a 2nd/3rd car, it's fantastic. Even more so because I'm guessing you didn't pay for it (but massive props to you if you did)

As much as you might be tempted to do silly shit to impress mates or what not, control yourself a bit and enjoy the car within reason. And make sure your HIDs are aimed down a bit because DC5 headlamps are pretty bad at controlling the glare on HIDs

Lol. Thanks man. I do appreciate what I have and I did pay for half of the car. I originally had 10k to spend. Was gonna get an EM1.

Haha. I'm not a big show off but I do like to give a few vtec when I'm going onto high speed zone. With HID, I adjusted them down when I got the car. So it's all good.

Haha, yer. Tracking in a few weeks, can't wait! P's should get before Annual Honda Meet, so that will be awesome. Also no need for bush basher LOL, I know the in and out technique and heel toe downshifting technique too. That should give me a good gist of tracking properly. Hrmm, plus I got the BC Pro Spec, gottta update this shizz.

LOL! YOUR SOO FUNNY! NOT, JKS. I find this so hilarious. New wheels, that might be my next aim now, maybe CE28N's 2nd hand from NSW or RPF1's 2nd hand. Depends on how I go with my budget, need to save money badly. Too many expenses atm.

It's as a EOI just to let people know that I am interested. But as it stands now there has been a huge lack of interest and considered to really keep it tbh because of all the effort I've put into the car.

Wow this hasnt been updated in a while =="

Anyways went to lakeside Saturday for Subi Evolution Time Attack Series. Hit a new PB 1:01.54 with new suspension setting and more power output thanks to Accurate Suspension and BYP. Keen to see 1:00.00 range next track day with a few more tweaks and correct my fast lines. Have been considering going to better suspension ...
