Hey guys this it the situation

I currently buaght a heads up unit for my car. For people who do not know what that is. It is a unit that you sit on your dash that projects onto your windshield your speed or revs.

Now i know how to wire this up in terms of power, and i do know which wire at the back of my cluster is my tacho. But i do not know which one is the signal for my speedo.

My car is a 94 civic sedan, blue, 4 door, d15b7 motor gli.

basically i need to know which wire represents the signal for my speedo.

If anyone could tell me this strait up or send me a diagram of all the wires and what they represent it would be great!!!

thanks guys

you could run wires into the engine bay and tap into the Vss for speedo and the single blue wire on the right shocker tower for your tacho.

My US instruction/service manual for EK1 Ej8 says that the VSS sensor wire is blue and white in the top plug the 11th pin from the left when looking at the back of the gauge cluster(as in looking over the bonnet into the car). The ICM wire is the blue one that ECU man is talking about. It’s in the side plug the 8th pin from the left when looking at the back of the gauge cluster.

the speedo uses the VSS(speed sensor vehicle) and the tacho uses the ignition control module
