04 Euro bonnet question.

Hi guys,

does anyone know if there is a difference between a 2004 Accord Euro Luxury bonnet and a standard Euro any year pre facelift. is it only the chrome strip or is there more than that?

Also anyone know how much a factory grill would be?

As you can probably tell I have had myself a bit of a bingle :eek:

What are peoples views on aftermarket pannels? not body kits but parts that look and feel like original just not made in Japan.. anyone used them b4?

I double anyone has CF hoods here for euro, but IIRC you CAN get fibreglass hoods from US them prime'n'paint them if you want to reduce weight. if you have the cash

would a 06+ bonnet fit a pre-facelift 03 model?

from what i know, it would but the +06 bonnets do not have the chrome trim, so you would also need to replace your grill to match

If you change your grill you may have to change the lights as the 06 grill dies not match up to the shape of the 03-05 lights.

Since my initial post I have called several Honda dealers with my bonnet issue ie: are the Luxury and Non Luxury model bonnets the same and I am getting 50/50 replys some say that they are 2 diff part numbers some say that they are the same all you have to do is buy the chrome stip for it. the ones that say that there are 2 seperate part numbers indicate that the Luxury bonnet has a recess/lip where the chrome strip sits/clips into.

Anyone know this for a fact? can anyone help with part numbers if possible?

i know for sure that the luxury bonnet has a recess where the chrome lip sits, because my lux is missing that strip

from that site it says the part number for the bonnet is 60100-SEA-A90ZZ and for the trim its 75120-SEA-003 but that site is for the american accord euro, im not 100% that its exactly the same
