thanks for trying mocchi, it would appear if you've ever given me rep before you can't give anymore

how does the unserdash equipment compare? as in A/C ducting, heater console, blower fan etc? I'd be interested to see pics if you go ahead with it

From what ive been able to find from digging around the interwebs, its basically just brackets that will need to be modded, or swapped over.

all the a/c ducting, blower fan, HVAC controls seem to line up and bolt straight back up. Although some people say there is problems with the plastic trim around the steering column, but others say its fine, so ive got no idea.

Dont mean to steal your thunder Andy )would be good if you checked yours as it's hard to measure the curved surfaces!, but I just measured up mine:

The length of the bottom window section between the mirror and the end of the door (same location as mark measured) is 980mm

Nice one Matt thanks haha. Haven't even taken the cover off mine for over a week now. Better do so this arvo or else the battery will go flat. I still have a JDM battery from pre-importation :D

thanks guise!!

so it looks like dimensions wise the crx is pretty close to the civic, just has the funky curve back to follow the roofline.

just need a sedan now!!

epic win guy approves of this thread.

Dougie, id hope that theyd be the same as the other models..

hmm. so it looks like. front doors of the sedan are close enuogh to 20cm shorter than hatch/crx.

but the other dimensions are all whack.

overall height of the doors is the same at about 1050mm
but compare the height of the metal and glass on either,

glass height is 460 to 430, sedan with more

and the metal 590 to 620, sedan with less.

Ef3 (hatch not sedan) and Ef9 have the same doors.

the tallest part of the sedan is the rear of the roof, where on the hatch it tapers back from the a pillar

trism
24-01-2011, 07:19 PM
is the angle of the A pillar the same between hatch and sedan?

~Sp33~

Nope.
