boost problem ( i think) please tell me whats wrong......

hi all,

i own a civic though am borrowing a mates Proton satria turbo at the moment...

i cant seem to find a gay proton forum around so i'll just ask here!

anyways....

the problem im having is majority of the time, i will accelerate as normal though when i get to 2500rpm the boost starts to come in and the car just BOGS down like crazy. It feels like when the timing is off or your in 5th and put your foot down....
It only doesnt do it when i launch from first and go go go ...

-proton satria turbo
-1.8 34g93t
-boost controller
-intercooler etc...

please help cos its a nugget!!!!

ECU not liking the air fuel ratio and therefore throwing it into limp mode?

check all the piping. seems like your lagging on power. could be a leak.

Just few inputs

Spark can be breaking (maybe haven't been replaced)
AFM (if it has one) / MAF / MAP can be dirty or faulty
Air/Fuel ratio
Ignition timing ? if it has been played around?

But dang, if timing belt skips tooth and shit, valves will be mashing with piston...
