if 2.5 is too loud go to a exhaust shop and ask to get a 2inch muffler put in the back.

should be pretty cheap

the top one is the 2.5" flange for my pipe and the bottom one is to weld to the stock muffler
note how the flanges are the same size yet the hole in the middle is diffrent. do they make those ?

Dude, why do you have a 2.5" exhaust if you are going to **** it completely by causing an epic bottleneck.

You can buy a 2.5" muffler thats quiet. Just research.

just cut both flanges off and weld the two pipes together

and what gumus is saying is go buy a muffler that has a 2.5" flange, there are quiet ones out there

Oh i get ya. Just go to an exhaust shop and ask if they havr a flange like that.. or even call em. Most stock looking mufflers eill be quiet as its a similar design. There are a few exxy ones like spoon streest, tanabe and internal twinloop ones this that. Or u can go to an exhaust shop tomorrow and see what they supply and what they can order in to fit ur needs.

Basically get off ur ass and call an exhaust shop theyll answer ur questions. Try performance exhaust.northmead, i called him today, helpful and real friendly guy

If you dont want a performance exhaust, go to a few shops and ask them how much their cheapest quietest stockest looking mufflers with a 2.5" inlets are. And then they can do what they need to do to fit it and itll be quiet.

also you could ask them to flare out a 2 inch pipe to 2.5, buy 2nd hand muffler from wreckers use the flared piece to join it together using ur old flanges.

It can be quiet and loud depending on how the car is driven. However I got my full catback redone and had my resonator taken out which is probably why mine is so loud haha.

my piping is 2.5" , headers the down pipe isnt stock as far as i can tell. its thicker then normal and doesnt use a donut gasket. i got 1 reso in the piping but im sure its been gutted out. as i have a cannon which is just for looks , its straight through so really loud with out a silencer.

so yeah hoping its not gonna be loud with the twin loop
