Hello All,
I have noticed abvious shakes on steering and vibration on brake paddle when I apply normal braking after I changed front brake pads and bleed the braking system.
As I have concern over safety and with the car over the longer term, does anyone know what is going on with my 90 ed civic and would like to share your thought please?
Thanks

check if the disks are warped and that if the front brake pads were installed correctly

Also check for overheating issues.

should always check rotors when changing pads
its most likely the rotors are warped and need machining

check runout of hubs and then check runout on rotors. if its the rotors that are warped replace them

I have noticed that the inner pad of the brake pads was not worn out evenly. Would tat highly likely be a warped rotor?
Where is the hub and how does it look like?
How do I diagnose an overheated brake?
Thanks alot guys

Oh damn. I have the new pads on the warped rotors now for 3 weeks. Should I just machine the rotor and reuse the new pads? I am assuming that a good rotor can correct the pads..

you should get new pads, but if ur tight on money it should be fine.
just make sure u rebed in the pads so they will sit flush with the new rotor
