Hi guys,

Last time it was the clutch buzz, thanks to all for the help. Now something else. Found a water saturated floor mat on the passanger side, was under the mat and the also soaked the carpet. The vehicle is garged over night. The only time it was in rain was a couple of days ago when it rained all day. Since i just bought the car i checked the roof on the day of the heavy rain when i got in the car but no signs of leaking. Is there any A/C piping behind the panel that would normally be the glove box. I pulled up the carpet and there was no sigh of holes in the cars floor.:honda:

Any one else come across this problem?

Thanks once again in advance.

This is a common problem dude.. Generally caused by your passenger urinating on themselves as vtec is engaged.. Quick fix, open plastic bag on the floor of the passenger side..

Ggggeeeeeennnnnggghhh piiiisssssss

Might sound weird but smell it, it could be coolant. if so it's your heater core
But you would probably know if it was as your car would be overheating

Coolant stinks like ass

I presume this is for an EF as in your sig? check the above things and also check the grommets on the firewall are in-tact and sealing properly

Hey guys, thanks for the helpful info :p yep this is for a s2000 but I also have an ef9. I have asked the missus and she has not wet herself in the car, also asked my dogs if it was one of them as they travel in the footwell often.....they also have denied all knowledge... Just trying to cover all my bases!!!

Gotta love this forum. Loads of enthusiastic posts and not a fact between them.

It's condensed water from the A/C.

as the OP doesn't mention anything about it only occurring when AC is on you are just assuming its condensed water

its a common s2000 problem

copy and pasted from s2ki..

Puddle in Passenger Footwell

There is a pipe connected to the bottom of the aircon unit in the passenger footwell that takes the condensation out the car and drops it on the road. This can become disconnected (probably kicked off) , takes 15 seconds to replace and problem solved.

Thanks guys, went and checked. SPOT ON!!!! not the hose but a crack in the plastic housing, looking like someone tried to take the hoses off without the right pliers and cracked the plastic housing. Wow that link was vey comprehesive!!!!! My bad for not checking the A/c first!!!!
