Today i installed my 4-1 headers and they don't clear this brace.
on a 1990 DA integra G2
This pic is not my car. its just a reference

I did a search and correct me if I am wrong, but I think that it is only used for towing and doesn’t have a structural significance??
It also doesn’t appear on the GSR..
So is it safe to remove and forget about?

i had the same problem when i changed engines in my car
i removed it.. its somewhere under the house now lol
dont think you need it coz, as you said, the gsrs dont have them either

yeah bro.. i dont even have one on my car.. lol.. wonder what happen to it.. but while im here.. can u tell what the standard exhaust size is on out DAs.. thanks

exhaust size standard is 1.75", i think the imports or GSR are slightly bigger..

I ended up taking and leaving it off since its of no use. I'll post pics tomorrow.

LOL you should see mine it's like all F*$%ed up coz my car is that bloody low, if I were you I would leave it on! you might regret it later!!!

Yeah i dont think that is supposed to be taken off the car. On my prelude it protects my trany housing from hitting the ground over bumps when the car scrapes.

If there is an issue with fitment maybe you should speak with someone from toda, maybe they have a way around the problem - rather than removal.

I took the thing off, i'll make a new brace that avoids the headers next weekend, heres how it looks.

geez the headers and cat seem to hang low! All in all looks pretty good =)
