Windows motor's problem....

My EK hatch passenger side motor is going die, just wanna ask should I buy one from wreck or get a new one from Honda? Because this model is going old already and donno if those from wreck would working fine or not.

Can U guys give me some suggestion？

also take into account if you buy 2nd hand and it dies again you gotta pull all the shit out of your door again. I think new from Honda will be expensive. when you get a price post it up for future reference

just got quote from wreck, they sell it $110.... don't have much time to quote from Honda but I just sent a e-mail and ask them, hope they will answer me this few days....

Or should I order it from US? Price would be around $80 band new but donno how much for shipping.

$110 seems a bit much, try another quote from elsewhere.

It's pretty easy taking off the door trim and replacing regulator. Probably won't have to do it again.

Ring your spare parts dept of your local Honda dealers, don't mess around with email.

USA takes up to 2 weeks, Shipping could be up to 100 bucks at a guess, or maybe less. Who know? Get a quote.

Ring around some other wreckers and compare to Honda price.

Doors on the sedan are shorter than the 2 door hatch and coupe, so it might be different. Take out the broken one and compare to make sure it's the right one.

yea.... the price is very horrible i think. I found one from ebay which is selling at around $50 but that is from sedan.... the regulator must be difference but donno if the motor is same or not....
