Hey guys,

This isn't one of those typical B16A blah blah threads, but rather the engine in my dads Breeze has blown (d13b). At the moment he's gotten a rather ludicrous quote for a replacement, so I'm doing some hunting to help him out. Basically since its a carby engine, I was wondering if ANY of the engines from the EG series (ie. twin carb ones) would slot right into the engine bay?

Also looking for any issues with engine mounts etc, as I'm looking for a d15b as a replacement (a lot easier to find etc) for him. Looking for a plug in and plug out replacement, because I KNOW labour costs on this would be fk-all and I hate to see my dad getting ripped off.

Any help would be appreciated on this, and sorry to sound so noobish about it all, I'm a Nissan boy and don't really know that much about the lego'ness of Hondas.

Cheers
Kazuya.

PS. Pending the replies on this thread, I may be after anyone to hock off their D15Bs onto me, Perth :).

any d-series engine should slot right in. keep with a carby engine so u wont need to upgrade ur fuel system/pump.
