hey guys, just wondering how do I remove shifter leaver from gearbox?? not sure whats its called but theres like a hollow split cylinder thing holding it to the box..
Iv tryed hitting it out and it hasnt moved at all, heat did nothing.
Iv attached pics of what I mean, its the thing circled in red

keep hitting. get the correct sized punch and keep hitting. wd40 helps to a certain point.
that's why its called the b*tch pin LOL

How hard is it to reuse it/ put in replacement gbox?
I don't have a punch lol, but will find a bigish Philips head driver and see how I go

you need a 8mm FLAT punch.
Hold it dead straight onto the split pin - a few whacks and it will slowly work its way out
NOTE when the pin is just about to pop out , TAP it out dont WHACK. If you whack it the pin will often sproing off somewhere and you might lose it

Thanks boys, put some WD40 on it and a old Philips head driver I had that fitted awesomly to it and yea when it was almost out, I locked some vice grips to it. Thanks again boys

some 12mm headed oem honda bolts will actually suit it fine.
