Heya Fellas,

So unfortunately i got the sad news from Yonas that jdmyard doesn't stock T1R's anymore for 97 EK.......so im wondering what other coilovers are out there atm that is worth buying.....or if anyone knows any other place where i can get some T1R's

I'll be using these for tracking so dont want any of the soft stuff, and my budget is $2K give and take

Cheers Joey

Yeah, Koni package can definitely be had for $1800 or less.

Sometime last year, I bought Koni Race shocks SPSS3 locally from the official Koni distributor in Melbourne and Ground Control kit from the states all for $1600. Considering the US and AU dollar is almost one to one right now, I can't see why you wouldn't be able to get them for even less than that.

The Koni Race Shocks handle up to 1000lb/in (17.8kgf/mm) springs which is plenty.

The Ground control kit comes with all the necessary hardware to turn the Koni Race shock into a threaded height adjustable "coilover". The beauty of the GC kit is that you can custom order your spring rates and so if you really wanted to be ridiculous you could order 14k or 16k etc.

I'm currently running the Koni SPSS3, GC (10k/8k), JDM ITR 25mm/23mm swaybars. Excellent to drive on smooth surfaces E.G track or fresh paved road but on normal road surfaces it's a bit of a struggle with all the train tracks, pot holes and bumps etc.

Buddy Club N+ with 1 yr warranty. Comes out still a tad harsh on softest settings. Total of 15clicks.
