Hi guys. I m planning to get my first car (1996 civic cxi).
The seller told me that he can get a pink slip for the car. So..do i still need a pre-purchase used vehicle inspection? Like the one NRMA offer.
What are the diff between rego inspection n a pre-purchase inspection?
Please help me wif this noob question:o:o

your pink slip is an inspection that is required by the Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) in order to prove roadworthiness of the vehicle before you can register it.
The NRMA pre purchase inspection is moreso an inspection for YOU as the purchaser, where the vehicle is inspected in detail, and a report provided to you surrounding the condition of it...

you dont HAVE too... but it may give you peace of mind (if you want it) if you dont know how to check for issues with the vehicle.
