Although i have the Tein SS, i will recommend the BC N+
Its a good all rounder coilover and good value. =]

I had Buddyclub N+ but now have Tein SS and I wish I never sold the N+ now.

We all go through the same thing, the basics are essentially the SS without the damper adjustment, so if you dont mind only having height adjustability perhaps consider the basic as they are cheaper.. else go the N+ (which most of us here, including myself have gone for) :)

go coilovers, hands down the best mod for an accord.

coils + good tyres + rsb = fun time!!

Agreed. I'm still yet to install my RSB. But I have heard good things.

what do you guys think about the BC BR coilovers?

Dude I run tein type flex street coilovers and gotta admit they are amazing when on softest damper (I haven't tried the stiffest just yet) :)

I have Flex on my CL9 and it messes up the comfort of the car. Great for handling though but for street driving, the Eibach + Bilsteins might be better since they are less likely to lose traction like with the Flex which is a tad too stiff.

there are many reviews and the positive comments, feedbacks of the N+, but coilovers is somthing u need to feel for yourself.

i personally fine them too stiff for daily driving.

arrong, hows the height adjustibility of the Bilstein ?

Wow do u really think they are shit for comfort lol how many kms are on them and stuff? I wouldn't trade my flex for the world :D I love the spring rate to.. O well guess not everyones opinion is the same :)

I believe the standard model has a fixed spring perch.

What car do you have? With the Euro which is a mid-sized family car, it changes the car's comfort level quite substantially.

I've done 50,000km on my Flex.

Could be coz of the 50,000 but highly doubt it :) garenteed it's the weight factor I drive an EK bro :)

BC Racing coils are golden! had a set in my accord and made my 4 door boat handle like it was on rails.
you can get pretty low with them too and they feel great even on the stiffest setting.

definitely an overlooked brand due to big name competitors. I will no doubt put another set in my next car...

Is the difference to handling substantial switching to buddyclub N+s, I've got a whiteline swaybar which makes huge amounts of difference but not sure whether its worth upgrading to coilovers as well.

EDIT: Or is it worth just doing springs + shocks??

Yeh i tried the BC BR coilovers with my old pulsar sss and they were good, so i ordered another set for the euro :)

Yeah, I've driven EKs with BC N+ which are stiffer than Flex, and it feels fine. The Euro is a heavy car, so it is most probably what is causing the difference (heavier car has stiffer springs).

On the street, I'd go with good springs and shocks. Good combination of comfort and handling is still at the same level as coilovers. When you go on track and you push the car really really hard, then you can consider coilovers.

Yeah probably why I'm leaning towards that combination atm

What's the rough cost of eibach springs + bilstein shocks? I heard their pretty good.

Is it significantly cheaper than getting Buddyclub N+'s from healtoeauto which is ~$1.3k

For that price I'd buy coil overs.

Not many coilovers that give you the both the comfort and great street handling at that price. Maybe only a gray-imported Tein SS (if they are still around the $1300) mark. You're stuffed if you need warranty though as shipping them back overseas is costly.

IMO coilovers do not suit the Euro. After all it's a semi sport/mid luxury car.The setup i have enhances the ride/handling of the Euro.On an typical road the average person wouldn't even know that my car has had a suspension upgrade and been lowered. Not untill you start pushing it hard round twisty bits of road. Why is it that manufacturers of prestige and performance cars nearly always go for Bilstein shocks?Even Jap manufacturers go for Bilstein when they offer an enhanced version of a certain model eg.Mazda RX 8,Subaru Liberty. All i can say is spend the extra it's worth it.

Fair enough. I haven't felt how the spring an shocks feel. I have Tein SS.

Put it this way, my two previous cars came with coilovers, skyline r33 & s15, and in both cases, after a month or two, i was installing lovells or pedders springs.
Imo way too stiff for everyday use, even on softest setting. But thats my experience.

Ps rep me if you find this helpful, need a QP -)
