hey guys, currently in build stage and about to drop in engine but thought Id just bleed brakes today to make sure everything is fine first..

Anyways, I blead them with RL,FR,RR,FL , and all is fine, they where blead till only fluid came out.
But now FR,FL,RR are fine though RL is sticking to the point where there its able to move but only slightly with or without brake pedel being pushed or handbrake being lifted. Im not to sure whats going on here, but the brake lines are brand new braided so thats not the problem, the calipers how ever where sitting dry for about a month.

Engine will be in later in the week, so any help would be good guys

suppose to bleed them from rear left, rear right then front left then front right
might be too much air in the system still, try vaccum bleeding it if you have the tools handy.

doesn't matter if brake lines are brand new debris can be stuck in the lines from factory so you might want to check that too

have you done any brake related work on it lately?
like pads, shoes, drums?

how is the adjustment for handbrake from the actual handbrake lever and even from the hub,

might want to spray some lube, ( rubber resistant ) onto the slides and parts that pivot

well the pads where removed while I was installing the trailing arm on car, but I plan on taking of caliper tomorrow and seeing if the piston has any lube at all which im thinking it doesnt.

but how do you adjust handbrake from the hub?? cause I only did it from the lever

your best of just lubing it up and running some brake fluid and leave it for a bit, you dont wana just slam on the pedal, cause if its dry pistons and boots could possibly fail

hard to explain over the net how to adjust handbrake from hub but you must do that before doing the lever 7 click from lever

It's stuck on there at the moment. What would be best way of taking it off?? And you mean put some grease in the piston and like lube up the piston walls in housing?

Would doing mild mild sanding of the rust on piston wall help at all?

Do NOT score your calipers pistons or it's bores. If they are rusted, they are next to no good. Having rebuilt a few sets of calipers, it's recommended you do no use anything other than some WD40/brake cleaner/carby cleaner to clean the bores and pistons. As for lubrication, use a proper high temperature grease for the seals. You can lube the bores with brake fluid to get the piston back in.

I'm thinking there would be mild surface rust on it, but yea a good wipe down with WD40 I guess would help out a bit. Shall have a quick look tomorrow, aim is to now mount engine ASAP. Dead line is Thursday next week

i took caliper of and piston will spin out but then gets stuck, spraying penatrant in does nothing.
