Hey guys I was just wondering if it was possible to retain P/S and A/C or just P/S when doing a K20 swap into an EG?

I've seen a lot of guys who have done K swaps into EG's generally don't have P/S or A/C and whether this is because most of them are track spec and chose not to for less weight or whether it's just not possible I would have no clue. So any feed back would be great.

Thanks

You can have whatever you want if you have the money for it.

No personal experience, but I'm sure they can be retained.

as Vvvtec said anything can be acheived depending on what amount of money you have to blow to retain them

to retain power steering you need to have custom p/s lines made up between the ps pump and steering rack, or buy a k-swap p/s conversion kit http://www.hybrid-racing.com/store/hybrid-racing-1996-2000-civic-k-swap-power-steering-conversion-kit.html

same deal with the aircon, you need custom lines made up between the compressor and condesnsor to evaporator, etc http://www.hybrid-racing.com/store/swap-parts/ac-kits/air-conditoning-line-kit-for-96-00-civic-kswap.html

not that hard...

Wow I didn't even know Hybrid Made that P/S Conversion kit and alot of my swap parts are from Hybrid.. I need to look a bit harder...

As for the A/C I think that is for 96 - 00 civics so I'm not sure if that kit will work for EG, but do quote me if I'm wrong..

just using it as an example, have a look around for eg conversion kit or just get it custom made from a specialist

There is an option when you go to purchase asking if your car is RHD or LHD so thats pretty nifty.
