EG reverse Light not working?

hi everyone

i just discovered that my EG reverse light is not working, i checked the bulbs is fine, and the backup light fuse is fine too, but it just not working at all

so anyone have the same issue?

any solution?

Did you use a 12v tester to see if power is getting through?

Sometimes bulbs look good but they aren't.

Did u change the clutch or transmission recently ? Possible the reverse switch is loose or clip is loose
Otherwise replace with known working bulbs and test test

am I losing my freakin mind? I swear I posted in this thread but there is nothing here. Multiple threads or double post and deleted?

as bludger said just because a filament looks to be intact doesn't mean the bulb is working. test for 12v at the bulb holder.

just change the bulbs. like 2 bucks at any parts store. do the same with the fuse. if that doesnt fix it, check reverse light switch.

just check the wiring have no power at all, can anyone give me a ideal where is the reverse light switch locate? mine is D16Y1~

should be somewhere on top of the gearbox. should have two wires (1 x GRN/BLK, 1 x YLW from memory) There should be a small plug which you can un-clip to check continuity of the switch when in reverse. Download the FSM, its covered in the electrical section

just fixed the problem with the old plug, the switch and everythings fine
