Mods:
Crower Valve springs (good for 9k+)
Crower Titanium Retainers
Comp/Zex Stage2 Cam #93500
Port and Polished head
Intake and Exhaust manifolds ported and matched
All gaskets port matched
3-Angle Valve job
Resurfaced Head with O-rings
Full reconditioned, new seals throughout. Acid dipped.
ARP Headstuds
Prothane Urathan Motor mount inserts
Chipped ECU

Notes:
* The rear tranny mount sucks. Never accidently put it in backwards, because it wont support anything ;)
* Win made the trip over and got down and dirty with me and rufes1 and daivid. Ozhonda head installed.
* The motor mount inserts have made the mounts hella study now. Almost zero engine movement, but its all been transfered the the body. Defainbtly a mod for the hardcore racer, not for the show ponys. I had trouble with the upper engine mount, as the inserts needed to be pressed out, and my replacements pressed in. i decided not to put them in, and i think im glad, the vibrations would of been crazy. The upside is though, i dont rekon axel tramp will be a problem, and i definatly get a more responsive feel from the engine/cornering due to no movement.
* She needs a tune. My fuel maps are way out now, im bogging down low but pulling like a mofo uptop. Mostly due to porting.
* Stay tuned for dyno and 1/4 mile times ;)

Wicked Weq

Gives me hope for my little D16Y1 :D

How much did that all cost?

I was looking at Crower cams and springs till I found out my rings may be gone F**K

There gose $1000 to $1500 that could have been put to funner use

na head was worked by harris engines ;) they were a few days overdue, but they did well in the end. i forgot to get pictures of the manifolds, they look good...

the crower springs&rets owe me 280US.

after a few hiccups with the engine mount and the ecu, the car started and is running as expected ;)
