hey will a type r
oil pump fit a b18a1 from a da9?
tryin to get a new oil pump that will handle high revs
cuz heard of stock oil pump shattering so ya.

All B-series oil pumps from '96 on are the same and they flow a bit better than previous years, yes it will fit. For peace of mind I guess.

you should also do the water pump to a VTEC one as they run better at high RPM with less cavitation.

you will then need to go VTEC timing belt and tensioner and trim the timing belt cover slightly to make it fit.
