On an AP1 2000 model S2000, where is the OBD2 DLC port? This is for an Australian model btw, not overseas.

Cheers

Yep just realised this, no OBD2 port, but the DLC is the same as the obd1 and early obd2 cars, its located under the driver's side dash, two pin short

Which begs the question, as US AP1s have an OBDII connector what is the difference between the US and Au S2000 diagnostic connectors?

Does the AUDM AP2 have OBD2 connector?

There are no AUDM AP2s. But later model AP1s have ODBII.

oh thanks!
Mine is MY00 and i believe it only has a 3-PIN DLC connector. I've been asking around to see if anyone successfully hooked up their Greddy Informeter Touch (or something similar) using a 3-PIN DLC to 16-PIN OBD2 adapter. I'm so anxious to get it to work with my S2K.. :(

Thanks VeYzZii. What about Greddy Informeter Touch? It only takes OBD2. Do you think it will work using a 3-PIN DLC to 16-PIN OBD2 adapter?

More info: http://greddy.net.au/products/display/?Category=electronics&SubCategory=56

thanks in advance!

I doubt the Greddy will work either. Coming from all the problems i had with the scanguage, finding the adapter, buying the product and at the end being dissapointed.. I dont know if it will have the same problem, best off talking to ECU-MAN about these things.

I doubt it will work either. ODBII is a superset of ODBI (as the name suggests). These monitor gauges take advantage of the features of ODBII that weren't available in ODBI.

Yea thats right, because on the Scanguage site it runs on Protocols from OBDII. And so it makes it impossible for the AUS S to be compatible.. As far as i know.
