Has anyone ever come across a buzzing noise when VTEC engages? It's not throughout the rev range just when VTEC comes in, it's sounds more like electric zapping noise then a buzz.

Noise seems to be coming from somewhere under the passenger glove box actually sounds like its coming from ECU..

Nah car is driving fine boost is coming in steady, the clearest way to hear the buzzing is to not boot it but slowly take revs up to 6000rpm when VTEC engages the noise starts..

check all wires are connected properly man and disconnect it and plug it back in and see how u go...might be internal

i think its a hardware problem, go take it to your tuner and tell him to open it up and check if theres anything loose inside.

if ur daring enough you could do it your self
