no, they are quoting me $320 for 60K service and Honda quoting me 487 for same thing.......:(
TopOne quoting me around $270-300 for the same thing and i have a feeling they giong one step further by doing tranny oil too...
but honda prestige also providing free courtesy car.

Depends how much work is involved with the service. Ask them when you book.

http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?97989-Which-Dealer-do-you-take-your-Euro-for-servicing-includes-ratings....That is for Honda dealers. No F***ing way would I let them touch my car up here. It's hard enough just talking to them on the phone....

Kmart FTW lol!

I added HondaCare in there. Ther aren't a dealer. I recken we should add some non-dealer Honda service specialists.

Ps: don't get me started on kmart... Had the 100k service done my kmart at sunnybank qld. Those morons put plain ngk sparklers in there when the euro need iridium plugs at least... And they tend to use castrol gtx(same as most Honda dealers)... Which is s***

Lol! Doesn't matter what spark plugs you use, the best plugs of all are actually the cheapest, copper ones, but you got to change them regularly. If you tell them what you want, they will fit for you. Kmart here uses shell semi-synthetic oil as standard, it's a bit better than the stock gtx.

I know the guys at kmart here, that's why it's them for me. You can get a good relationship going with any of the non dealership service places. They actually care about cars, and not ripping you blind.

Kmart here changes oil filter every service (Honda doesn't), let's me use my own oil (Honda doesn't), rotates my tyres (Honda doesn't), I could go on and on lol, but best of all, they charge me 1/2 the price of what Honda charges!

Pretty sure the euros are iridium as oem and if you do a model search on the ngk site they ask you to use IZFR6K11 which is the oem (iridium). I asked for same as oem and I ended up getting the non iridium basic crap.

Wouldn'tve been a problem had they not charged me foriridium plugs wheni didn't get them... and not told me. Had I not checked the plugs again because the cars running rich. I wouldve kept them copper plugs in there for 90k or more....

If I go with Top1, is new car warranty still validated?

ZThats the difference just a good oil can do. I've just recently gone to castrol edge 5w30, and have the same results as you're experiencing.

Should not be a problem, Top1 will use geniune parts, so honda cant deny the waranty, since honda dealers dont even use geniune honda parts.
