Recently did a k20a2 engine conversion in my ek.

My car consist of the folowing -

* k20a2
* k tuned 4-1 headers
* 2.5'' custom exhaust to a vibrant muffler
* custom CAI to a Blox velocity stack air filter
* Hondata k100

And my symptom is that everytime I engage the clutch to upshift, I hear an Air gushing noise. Identical to a BOV. Its Even loud enough for me to hear daily driving with windows up and no music.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks Ozhonda community =]

i dont get how engaging the clutch would make the intake suck in air?

it would be the intake if he was accelerating above 3k

r u sure its when u engage or when u accelerate to shift?

Come to think of it, It could be the clutch.

Im using an Orc single plate clutch (silent type)

When i accelerate and the rpms climp to lets say 2500-3000rpm, as soon as I engage the clutch to change gears it makes the sound.

So if someone can confirm its the clutch then all good =]
