Hey Fellas!

On Sunday, i replaced my 99 softop roof to a near new soft top (not glass - don't ask me why, but wen I bought it, I was new to this forum and had never known about ribbons/topsonline).

This was by far the most exhaustive job I've ever done - took me 5.5 to 6hrs to do! (those of us who are in Sydney, this Sunday was stinkin hot)!

Anyways, the bloke who had the S before me had done the wiring for the sub at the back. The roller bar covers were somewhat disconnected around the whole circumference - and now that I've had to strip and reassemble everything - its much worse. The gap is so bad that you can actually see the whole bar!

I've seached exhaustively through the manual - but doesn't say anything about clips - Just wondering if anyone has/knows what to do.

Ta!

Pretty sure he's talking about the thick bars behind the seats... and the plastic that covers them creates a gap so wide that the bars are exposed.

Not too sure what to do here without looking at pics... did you screw in all 8 nuts per side for the roller bars ?

The roll bar covers are never meant to be pulled apart, they never go back together. They are heat sealed at the factory. Even if you buy a roll bar from Honda it comes with the plastic attached.

U can always glue them back together. Get a clamp to hold them inplace while the glue dries
