It won't save you money because the tyres get shipped in pairs pretty much, so it will cost you the same however because so many tyres will come through you will get done by customs... and yes I tried that ended up having to add $350 lol.

Shipping from tire rack is only about 250 so it's not that expensive anyway and ends up being cheaper then tyres over here.

i allways thought that these were long gone. stopped production years ago.

it went S02 as the top performer, then S03, then Grid3, then re001 adrenalin (current)

if you do manage to find a set id be interested to know when they were made as tyres do have a shelf life
and once past that they are shit and crusty

They still make them for 993s, so most of the ones you can buy are the N spec ones specific to Porsches. The thing is though, tyres have moved on since then.

Sticking with Bridgestone, I'd be buying the Re-11s as for all intent and purposes they are superior tyres. Or the Dunlop Z1s :D

S02s ain't S02s.

The AP1 came with an S02 designed specifically for the S2000. This tyre is no longer available. Whether or not an N spec Porsche specific S02 is still available or not is really not relevant. There are much better tyres available that will fit fine and perform better.
