Hey,

Recently bought a used 35w HID kit 6000k for my civic, the kit did not have a relay to the battery so was pretty much just plug and play. Anyway i tried it out on the drivers side and worked fine.. but after 30sec it went off... i thought it was the bulb/the ballast but i interchanged between the other set to make sure and there was no difference.

Now after removing the HID kit from the drivers side, and re-installing the original halogen bulb... it doesn't turn on anymore. The dimmer light turns on but not the main bulb does not... What could be the problem? Fuse?... if it is the fuse, how could i stop this from occurring?

Thanks. Much appreciated.

sounds like something made it short out the low beams, so only parker lights work now? , do your high beams work?

if not that could be an earthing issue

no original wires cut at all.. simply plug and play... hid bulb itself comes with 4 connection parts 3 of which all connect up to the 2 leads of the ballast... and the last part connects to existing bulb plug. Same for both sides.

I suspect a blown fuse.

Wont blow a fuse again unless u plug the HID kit in again.
