Has anyone seen or made a custom strut?

Or is it just too hard to get the exact lengths? Material wise it should only cost 60-90 bucks and a few hours labour.

What kind of strut are you talking about?

Front or Rear strut brace?
Front or Rear gas shock / coilover strut?

Bit a info:
Our car doesn't have struts. Struts are geometric suspension members. We have A arms (wishbones) and coilovers.

If you're asking has anyone custom made a shock absorber with a spring over it, um, not to my knowledge. There are so many options available from just about every coilover maker that there really doesn't seem to be any point in reinventing the wheel.

Blast, I highly doubt a custom manufactured coilover would be anything like cheap.

True but if he does a DIY it could be a long & messy road :)

why would you bother?

so much research etc goes into coilover setups etc. thats normally what you are paying for.
at least if you spend you money it will do what its supposed to do.
