sup fellows,
i just got my car serviced for 120,000 km and i think they change tranny fluid... now im finding a squeeky sound when i press the clutch. is this normal?

Its probabaly just the clutch pedal. Thats a common noise, maybe lubricate the hinge with some grease or something??

spiller is right, I had the same problem on mine, a bit of WD40 or sumfin similar did the trick

i ve got the same prob. with mine... but when the car gets warm its gone...

WD40 doesnt do the job, its a quick fix for short period then makes it even worse. What you acutally need is some grease to lub it back up. My clutch has same problem i just turn my music up and you cant hear it any more LOL but as i said LUb it up. Look stick ur head under and look at where the pedal goes in and out at the joint.

most probly is the clutch pedal.. i know my gas pedal squeaks.. but jus cant be ****ed to grease or oil it.. so i just pump the music lol.. and get use to it..

yeh my clutch pedal makes that noise too...probably should do something about it, maybe when it starts getting really anooying

Ok guys try using some lithium grease will do the trick.

I had the same problem a while back also after a major service from Honda.

Brought it back in again and they said they greased the clutch pivot fork. This stopped the noise but a week later it started up again. makes a speaking noise everytime the clutch is pressed down.

Ive heard that the cause of this is due to either the throw out bearing or similar, all associated with the clutch master cylinder.

Ended up taking my car to Hanny's to have the clutch replaced anyway, mentioned it when i brought it in and appears that Hanny's not only replaced the clutch but got rid of the noise. I havent heard it since!

I also tried Grease and Wd40 on the clutch pedal. doesnt work... its the MasterCylinder.
