^^^ If your in VIC, goto Lavo Market (Trash N Treasure) I got mine done there on the spot for about $60/key (Key included). Otherwise, you can send it to an ebay guy and get it done for $50.

Or, you can pay $260+ at the stealership.

Got my original, scanned it in his machine, got the new key and slotted it into the machine, press a button - wait 5 seconds, then he cut it. x 2 - 5 minutes - $120.

Peace.

Does he do other car manufacturers keys?

He does everything, even remotes for your garage etc. It's all the same chip, maybe some of the newer types are a bit harder, but I'm sure if you ask him, he'll be able to tell you something.

I'm looking at upgrading my key, is it possible to purchase the AP2 key and get it to work on an AP1? I'm not a fan of my current key, it was the same key I had for my EM1! :(

Buy an alarm kit from ebay, and install it. This way you get added security, you have more indication of when your car locks/unlocks than just listening out for it, and you can have extra things like remote start/window roller/roof roller and all the shebang! And also, have a spare remote.. :D Still cheaper than honda. But if you insist of keeping it "OEM":

www.ebay.com.au/search=?honda+remote (http://shop.ebay.com.au/?_from=R40&_trksid=m570&_nkw=honda+remote&_sacat=See-All-Categories)

I remember seeing OEM remotes for pretty cheap.

Goodluck!

Depends what you like man... I'm not really into any branded shat, so as long as it does what it's supposed to then I'm happy with it.. You can get one for as cheap as $60 delivered... The remotes are pretty good looking too... Just ebay it, SPY is probably the better of the generic brands, I never had any problems with them on ANY of my cars.
