What is a Euro CL8?

I purchased a set of Mugen weather shields a couple of months ago and noticed on the box its says suit CL7, CL8 & CL9. What is a CL8?

Think about standard imprezas that are non turbo AWD that only have 110kw. The JDM k20 has around 160kw and the European version has round the 140kw so it wouldn't go that bad.

True that but k20's torque is a bit low for the constant AWD. Sadly

An ej25 has 202nm torque and the k20 has 200nm so it should be ok.

No, the CL8's engine is the base model k20a similar to that in the Integra luxury, so it gets about only 118kW.

It's because the AWD model is sold in Japan but Japan doesn't get the 2.2 diesel, which is for the European market. And the Europeans don't get the AWD model. Hence you don't find a combination of the two. Also, I believe the AWD system is similar to that of the CRV, so it is not a performance AWD per say.

I saw the specs of the european Cu2... Type S 2.2 Diesel.... 131kw and 380Nm *drool*
