buying crx need help

ok iv found myself a crx gen 2 in good condition cept for some minor scraches for $4500 but this is with out rego wich expired yesterday i looked @ it today and its not to bad alot better than some other carp ive seen for 6k lol its got 170k on it stock as a rock and is silver. lol what do i need to look for engin wise and stuff. any major problems with the 88 crx's? and if any 1 here lives nere the hills aren and knows alot about engins and stuff and could take a look @ it with me b4 i buy it if all is in order id be happy to donate 2 ur own cause :P mmm free beer maby lol. lol all i can say is it needs alot of love and i can give love to it or maby i just need a gf =/
