hey there

nice car the ef si.

I'm guessing you'd be paying roughly $8000+, i've seen a couple only in the papers for this price in NSW Sydney. And i've only seen two driving around the area.

there was a black one with watanabes JUST LIKE THIS posted on crx a while back.
i've seen stockies like these sell for $9k but if ur lucky you can get them for as little as $4k (yes almost impossible but true  )

7-8 k.
although i could never buy a car which has been imported, it seems like its been well mainteined and wit such low kms it seems like a resonable price.

Given that the EF9s with the B16A are selling for 8-9K fully imported, I'd say that about 6K would be acceptable. The ZC motor in the Si shares the majority of components with the Aussie CRX so you should be ok there.

Personally, I think it's a good deal for 5-6K although keep in mind you will have chassis rattles etc - all associated with a 14-15 yo car.

BTW - sell me your watanabees for my EF9 :)

Don't I know it Danny - but jspec has had about 3 or 4 go through their mailout lists. I wouuldn't mind another one persoanlly - I'd take the 9 over any of the other EFs (inc the CRX) :)

well the car will be complianced by the end of this week, and a year rego, that all comes with the car.

i don't know why, but i feel that $7k is a bit pricing.

the car belongs to a contact in Japan, it was his personal car and it's damn clean. Comes with original Jap log books and Civic manual.

i sat in it, and it looks better than my 01 Accord :o
(btw, my Accord interior is "immaculate" :p)

You guys think it's a steal?

If i could find an EF9 i would buy it but i heard the chances of finding one in good as condition as this Si is impossible.

If the car is in as good condition as you make it out to be, you'd be hard pressed finding another for cheaper as that WAS the going rate for them.

If you love the EF9 shape so much (who doesn't :) ) I'd say this would be pretty much your last chance at getting a EF9 that has never been rego'd in Australia thanks to the murdering of the 15 year rule.

i would say that the price is very reasonable
its still cheaper than the average australian delivered ef crx and it shares the same engine, also being from japan it will have bugger all kms
so i say go for it
i love the ef shape too good friend of mine has an ef siR and when driving it looks so tough from the back!
